FIREFLY Central Intake Process
FIREFLY Central Intake, processes referrals for a wide range of voluntary children’s services throughout the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.
Services can be accessed for children and youth from birth until the age of 18, or up to the age of 21 if they are in school and living in Ontario.
Central Intake assists individuals who have a concern about a child/youth’s development, day-to-day functioning, who is experiencing a mental health concern or who has multiple and/or complex special needs.
To Make A Referral:

If you are you a youth and would like to access Mental Health Services:

If you complete this self-referral form and you have not heard back from FIREFLY within 48 hours, please call our Centralized Intake number: 1-833-696-5437.

Crisis Support Services
FIREFLY and Dryden Regional Health Centre After-Hours Mental Health Support (DRYDEN ONLY)
Child & Youth Mental Health Outreach Services provides confidential after-hours mental health response services to children and youth, and their families, Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. by texting or calling 807-216-0075. Mobile outreach services can be provided at the Dryden Regional Health Centre, youth centre, schools, within the home, and at other safe locations within the community.
