Treatment Foster Care

In partnership with child welfare agencies, FIREFLY provides support and education to families whose home is designated as a treatment foster home.

The Treatment Foster Care program provides children with complex needs, with clinical multi-disciplinary support from trained and supervised Treatment Foster Parents, allowing them the opportunity to live within a family setting.

Admission is ideally for children under the age of twelve years at the time of admission, whose needs are beyond the scope of regular foster care.

Children are admitted through an Admission Committee comprised of child welfare staff and FIREFLY staff.
