IPLO Seeks Indigenous Artist for New Logo

The Indigenous Professional Learning Opportunities (IPLO) Program, delivered through FIREFLY, is inviting applications from Indigenous artists and graphic designers to create a new logo for the program. This is a paid opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a program that supports the delivery of high-quality, culturally relevant services in child care and child and family programs across First Nation communities in Ontario.

IPLO works in collaboration with community leaders, early childhood educators, nutrition planners, and cooks to promote Indigenous culture through professional learning experiences. These efforts help strengthen relationships with children, families, and communities, while providing access to new resources, skill development opportunities, and vital networking between service providers.

About the Project

IPLO is seeking a logo design that captures the spirit of community, sharing, and connection—values that are central to the program’s purpose. The design should be deeply rooted in Indigenous culture, history, and identity, and reflect the pride and strength that guides IPLO’s work across the province.

The final logo will become a visual representation of the program’s mission and values, helping to unify and inspire all those connected to its work.

If you are an Indigenous artist or designer who is passionate about storytelling through art and interested in helping shape the visual identity of this impactful program, we would love to hear from you.
