Fall – High Intensity Kids

In large text "Parenting High Intensity Kids - Virtual Group" over a dark heather purple background. The letters K, I, D and S are filled in images of a child crying, a child shouting, a child giving a dirty look and a child jumping up in excitement.

Back this fall, FIREFLY is hosting another High Intensity Kids program. This is offered virtually and is available to any caregiver across the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.

These kids are usually intense, deeply feeling, often spirited, and sometimes challenging. Over the course of four sessions, you will connect with other caregivers who can relate to your experiences, learn about what makes these kids ‘tick’, and explore some effective (and realistic) caregiving strategies that are tailored to their unique needs.

Sessions will take place on Thursdays over the lunch hour (12:00-1:00 PM) October 8, 15, 22 and 29. It is highly recommended that you are able to attend every session.

This program is facilitated by RoxAnne Daignault FIREFLY’s Parenting Mental Health Support Worker and Jessi McEwen, RP (Qualifying) Counsellor.
