SUMMARY:FASD Painting with Alicia Kejick - Youth Session
DESCRIPTION:We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Alicia Kejick Creations to offer a painting workshop in Kenora for children and youth between 10-18 with FASD or possible FASD. \n\n\n\nAlicia Kejick is an Anishinaabe-Mushkegowuk (Ojibwe-Cree) artist. She grew up in Iskatewizaagegan #39 IFN (Shoal Lake #39)\, Ontario\, and now residing in Kenora\, Ontario. \n\n\n\nShe began painting in 2016\, using it as a way to heal and connect with her spirit. She has primarily worked with acrylic paint and has since expanded to doing other forms of art including graphic design/digital art\, community projects\, commissions\, and workshop facilitation. \n\n\n\nShe is inspired by her Anishinaabe culture and ways of life\, her family\, experiences\, and the energy of life.
