High Intensity Kids is back!

Back by popular demand, FIREFLY is launching a spring session of High Intensity Kids. This program is offered virtually and is available to any caregiver across the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.

These kids are usually intense, deeply feeling, often spirited, and sometimes challenging. Over the course of four sessions, you will connect with other caregivers who can relate to your experiences, learn about what makes these kids ‘tick’, and explore some effective (and realistic) caregiving strategies that are tailored to their unique needs.

Sessions will take place on Thursdays over the lunch hour (12:00-1:00 PM) June 12, 19, 26 and July 3. It is highly recommended that you are able to attend every session.

This program is facilitated by RoxAnne Daignault FIREFLY’s Parenting Mental Health Support Worker and Shannon Bowcock, a Senior Clinician with FIREFLY’s Children and Youth Mental Health Team.

Don’t delay, this program tends to fill up within just a few days of being launched!
