SUMMARY:High Intensity Kids - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:High Intensity Kids (HIK) is designed for parents and caregivers of children of any age who feel deeply and respond intensely. It offers a supportive space to connect with others who understand these unique parenting experiences. \n\n\n\nOver the course of four one-hour sessions\, participants will gain insight into what makes these kids “tick” and explore realistic\, effective caregiving strategies tailored to their needs. \n\n\n\nParticipation is flexible – caregivers are welcome to engage at their own comfort level. Turning on cameras or speaking is not required. \n\n\n\nIt is highly recommended that you are able to attend every session. \n\n\n\nVirtual – Fall 2026 Session: \n\n\n\n\nThursdays\n\n\n\nVirtual – open to all caregivers in Northwestern Ontario\n\n\n\n12:00-1:00 PM\n\n\n\nOctober 1\, 8\, 15 and 22\n\n\n\n\nRegistration information coming soon!

SUMMARY:Kenora - Autism Positive Reinforcement
DESCRIPTION:Caregivers and their autistic children and youth (ages 0–18) are invited to join us in the Kenora FIREFLY Office for a session on positive reinforcement. \n\n\n\nCome learn practical strategies you can use at home\, connect with a Positive Behaviour Interventionist\, ask questions\, and start building your own reinforcement “toolbox.” We’ll have activities for youth who attend\, plus a meal and refreshments to enjoy together.  \n\n\n\nSpots are limited\, and an OAP number is required to register. \n\n\n\nClick here to register. \n\n\n\nIf you have any questions or need help registering please reach out by emailing asdworker@fireflynw.ca
